i wonder when it was
that i started expressing my love
simply by having fun
with my loved ones
experience has become
my sole mode of communication
the artist
investing the whole of his time
to the art of life
i am living my masterpiece
for all the world to see
i find that
performance art
seems to scare away many people
old friends
but that’s okay
because not everyone can understand
truly great art
much as a newspaper’s coroner
can rarely understand
a truly great life
so i ask myself
who my buyers are
and get a little bit
                    worried
